Scarborough: February, 2000
We took the train to Scarborough, on the Yorkshire coast. The waterfront and beach seem a bit seedy, with plenty of dodgy-looking arcades and trinket stores. The town is dominated by the ruins of the castle (closed for the winter.) From right outside the ruins, there are great views of the coast north and south. We also stopped by the grave of Anne Bronte, Yorkshire author and sister of Charolotte.
Big Sister and the ruins
Never too keen on group shots, Little Brother takes off down the path in the background...
