Humor and Commentary
Timothy McSweeney's Internet Tendency is very dry. Salon and Slate have some thoughtful commentary. Warning: The Onion contains dead-pan, smarty-pants sophomoric humor. I sometimes find TeeVee pretty amusing.
One of the best Weblogs (basically an annotated lists 'o links updated daily) I've found: memepool -- see the "Wackos" category.
Friends Pages
Kevin Kavanagh
My brother Kevin's site is filling up with pictures.
Chairman Richard Mocker
Dik presents Rockboss for your pop and rock listening pleasure.
John Schnall
Quality-Schnallity crashes the gates of e-commerce -- go there for all of your strange animation needs.
Digital Cameras
Digital Camera Resource, Steve's Digicam page are good sources of news, reviews, tips, deals and discussions. Megapixel.net is a monthly effort that does more in-depth reviews. Short Courses is a pretty extensive course on digital photography techniques and technology.
York, England
Info on York... This is York has some local news. The York government has a pretty good site, too. Other attractions include the National Railway Museum. A Yorkshire native has made a nice site, with descriptions and pictures, called Yorkshire View. The Maltings is my favorite pub in York. ULYgans are some inhabitants of the uk.local.yorkshire newsgroup. The site has some pictures, history and links to Yorkshire natives. Yorkshire Dialect has sound and text examples of how true Yorkies speak.
WWW Stuff
I use Google. Sometimes as a verb.
