Katie really enjoyed getting dressed up for the wedding. She and Mary Ellen looked great. They both complained about sore feet at the end of the day, though.
Goofy grin
Sean finally lost his second front tooth--his 7th total, he informs me. He's got a very goofy grin again.
Kevin and Diane: Ceremony
The wedding ceremony was outdoors. The weather cooperated, and there were plenty of flowers and fall foliage on hand.

Back from the wedding
We spent the weekend in NJ attending Kevin and Di's wedding. They had a wonderful ceremony outside, followed by a nice meal. The weather cooperated, and we all had a great time. Plus, later that evening, the Yankees lost.
The only downside is the lack of sleep for the kids. We pay for that!
There were 4 photographers covering the ceremony and the reception. They were all using digital cameras. They had a table set up in the back, with a large flatscreen LCD that they used to display a slideshow of pictures taken during the afternoon.
There were usually several people standing around looking at the monitor. The pictures were updated throughout the afternoon, so several people, like me, made repeat visits. It was a great idea for marketing and as a feature of the reception -- several guests commented on how nce it was to see pictures the same day.

Kevin and Sean
Sean didn't want to get dressed up. Well, nothing beyond getting black laces in his hiking shoes. He was pretty impressed by the number of people who were dressed up -- and he thought Kevin looked very sharp.

Sean had fun playing soccer this year. He missed a lot of practices because of overlap with gymnastics, but he played hard during the games.
Katie on the run
Katie seemed to enjoy soccer more this year than other years. She played more aggressively, on offense and defense, and always worked hard.

Sean played baseball for the first time this spring. He picked up the basics of batting and fielding pretty quickly, and especially liked hitting.

Katie really enjoys the wall at a local sports store. She's gone up several times, and gets a lot of confidence from it.
